Directed Silent Retreats for Priests
On-site Spiritual Director, Mrs. Trudy McCaffrey, offers retreats for priests throughout the year. The first day listed is the arrival day with spiritual direction offered beginning on the second day. Lodging and meals are provided.

What can I expect to find at Broom Tree?
Each retreatant has their own room with private bathroom, queen bed, dresser, recliner or couch, and writing desk. Linens and towels are provided, and laundry facilities are available if needed. The Adoration Chapel in the Retreat Center is open 24 hours a day as well as Sts. Isidore & Maria Chapel (the little white church on the hill nearby). An exercise room is available in the Retreat Center, and there is a walking/running path on the property. In the summer, there is also an outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub available for your use during scheduled hours.
What does a Directed Silent Retreat at Broom Tree look like?
The daily schedule includes Mass, spiritual direction, and meals. The rest of your time is spent in individual prayer.
What can I expect for cost?
The cost for meals and lodging is $130/day and the director’s stipend is $350. Sales and tourism tax of 5.7% will be added to the total invoice.
Directed Ignatian Silent Retreats for Laity, Deacons & Religious
These retreats, open to laity, deacons, and religious, are for those individuals who have previously made at least one previous silent retreat and who feel called to more. The retreat begins the evening of the first day and ends after lunch of the last day.
